Summary

This camera has features including a 7.1 Megapixel, 1/2.5-inch CCD, DIGIC III Image Processor, 10x optical zoom lens with a shift-type optical Image Stabilizer (IS) system and 1.8-inch vari-angle LCD monitor with wide viewing angle. It uses Battery Pack NB-4L to shoot up to approx. 160 images (based on the CIPA standard when the LCD monitor is on), and SD memory cards, SDHC memory cards, MultiMediaCards and MMCplus cards for the recording media. Images are utilized with a direct print compatible printer, computer and TV via USB 2.0 Hi-Speed.

The dimensions (excluding protrusions) of the main body are 88.8 x 59.9 x 29.0 mm (3.5 x 2.4 x 1.1 in.) and the weight is approximately 220 g (7.8 oz.).

  Exif Print is a standard for enhancing the communication between digital cameras and printers. By connecting to an Exif Print-compliant printer, the camera's image data at the time of shooting is used and optimized, yielding extremely high quality prints.

  Even if the clip size has not reached 4 GB, recording will stop at the moment the clip length reaches 1 hour. Depending on memory card capacity and data write speed, recording may stop before the file size reaches 4 GB or the recording time reaches one hour.

  Normal temperature (23±2C/73F±3.6F), normal relative humidity (50%±20%), alternating wide angle end and telephoto end shots at 30 second intervals with the flash fired once every two shots and the camera power turned off after every tenth shot. Power is left off for a sufficient amount of time, then the power is turned back on and the testing procedure is repeated.
